Amended US Patent (Nov 7, 1978)
This project was originally concieved for John Henry Blatter's magazine Daily Constitutional (June 2008. USA). It had the theme By Proxy so using the Internet I was able to access the US Patent Office's library where I located the original patent for a heart pacemaker. The document describes every practical aspect of the device and comes with the above hand-drawn diagrams. It shows how such a simple device, described in sparse objective language, can have such a profound impact. Click on image to download PDF
